Daugaviņš lost goal to “Vitjaz” in KHL game

“Vitjaz” lost to Minsk “Dinamo” with guests 3: 4 (0: 1, 1: 1, 2: 1, 0: 1).

The striker of the Latvian national team Daugaviņš reached the majority in the 26th minute 1: 1. He spent 22 minutes and 29 seconds on the court, took three shots on the opponent’s goal, won five of ten throws and used force once.

The winner was determined in the extra time, in the third minute the goalkeeper Romans Gorbunovs scored.

In another match, Helsinki “Jokerit” with Jānis Kalniņš booked the guests with 2: 3 (1: 0, 0: 2, 1: 1) Nizhny Novgorod “Torpedo”.

Mikhail Varnakov scored the winning goal, which he had in the second game, in the 58th minute.

In the Western zone, Jokerit is in eighth place in 23 matches with 29 points, while Vitjaz has reached 28 points in 29 games, which allows it to take the ninth position. The Avangard is in second place in the Eastern Zone with 42 points in 29 battles.

This season, 23 teams are participating in the KHL Championship – 11 Western and 12 Eastern conferences. In the regular championship, each team will play 60 games, after which the eight best clubs will enter the Gagarin Cup.
