Colombia National Team: Jorge Luis Pinto resigned from the United Arab Emirates – International Football – Sports

This situation is well known in the colombian soccer. A little more than four months after the Santander Jorge luis pinto became the selector of Arab Emirates, but four months after taking office, he leaves office by mutual agreement.

As confirmed by the Federation of that country, the 67 year old coach he leaves office after evaluating his objectives. Of course, the press speculates that there were two reasons that led him to make that decision.

The first one was the bad results it would have had. In two of the three friendly matches he led, he was defeated: 1-3 against Bahrain and 1-2 against Uzbekistan. He could only win 3-2 to Tajikistan.

The second reason would be that the workload on the part of Pinto In training, the players would not have liked him and they would have presented the complaint.

“I spoke with the officials of the Football Association and they understood my position, and it was agreed between us to terminate the contract amicably. I wish the United Arab Emirates national team success,” he said.

Now, Pinto without work could be one of the possibilities that the members of the Colombian Football Federation could study to replace Carlos Queiroz, of whom it is said would not follow in the Colombian National Team.

Pinto is a high-profile, experienced technician world cup, although their ways of working are not to the liking of many.
