Chris Froome is joined uphill: “Impressive”, he laughs | Remarkable

For those who missed the TV broadcast this afternoon: the video below proves once again how difficult the final phase of more than 1.5 kilometers was.

The bump at the end of the time trial was good for an average of around 15 percent, a gradient that Chris Froome also dreaded a bit.

On the hill Froome received the necessary support from a follower of the Vuelta, who could keep the Briton company for a while (on foot or with an aid?).

The four-time overall winner of the Tour appreciated the physical effort. “Impresionante”, he said in his best Spanish. “Thanks for the conversation”, was added on Twitter.
