– I will be the undisputed world champion – says Oleksandr Usyk. The Ukrainian, however, is not satisfied with his attitude in the fight against Dereck Chisora.

Oleksandr Usyk had his first fight in the heavy category a year ago. Then he won ahead of time with Chazz Witherspoon without any problems. The real test, however, awaited him this weekend. In Wembley Arena he faced Dereck Chisora, who was already fighting with the best in the royal category.

The Ukrainian did not impress. However, it was he who convinced the judges, who unanimously indicated his victory. Is the 33-year-old pleased with himself?

– It was a real heavyweight test. Chisora ​​is a big and tough guy. I was expecting a difficult fight, maybe even a harder one. However, I would give myself a score of 3/10 – he said after the fight in DAZN.

In a moment, however, everyone will forget about style. The Ukrainian is already looking to the future, because he may soon get a fight for the world championship. Usyk is convinced that he will raise the heavyweight.

“ I’m going home to spend as much time as possible with my family and then going back to the gym to prepare for the belt fight. I will be the undisputed world champion – he announces.

Usyk already knows what the championship tastes like, because he was the world champion in the junior heavy category. He took the WBO belt from Krzysztof Głowacki in 2016. Before the change of weight, he already held the titles of the WBC, WBA and IBF federations.
