The FC Bayern basketball players celebrated a week after the rejection against record champion Real Madrid, a victory against the 15-time Serbian champions that was only in the second half.
The US-Americans Wade Baldwin and Nick Weiler-Babb were Munich’s most successful throwers with 15 points each. The Serbian Vladimir Lucic also achieved a double-digit result with twelve points.
Decision only in the final quarter
The game was mainly characterized by the defensive rows. For a long time nothing went forward at Bayern. It was only thanks to the strong defense that Munich stayed in the game. It was not until the final quarter that coach Andrea Trinchieri’s team ensured a clear victory with a 13-0 run.
