It’s the Georgia peach for me.
These beautiful people are Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian Sr. They are married and very much in love.
While Alexis Ohanian Sr. is successful himself – he’s the founder of Reddit – he’s often referred to as Serena’s husband / Olympia’s father *.
Now, this week, we’ve been watching eagerly as the votes are counted in several key states to determine who will be the next president. One of these key states is Georgia.
So Alexis probably didn’t think twice about it when he tweeted this when the nation saw Georgia’s ballot papers counted:
In case you need an emoji refresher, the peach emoji is code for a bum – a bootylicious bum more specifically.
When people saw Alexis Sr. tweet this, they IMMEDIATELY thought he was talking about Serena:
He soon recognized his mistake and corrected it as best he could:
“… but you’re not wrong.”
After this week, I really needed that laugh.
