VYoussoufa Moukoko was stopped a week ago. Opponent Alemannia Aachen did not play in the junior Bundesliga. Now the 15-year-old was allowed to go hunting for goals again with Borussia Dortmund’s U19s.
Moukoko scored all three goals in Dortmund’s 3-0 win over SV Wehen-Wiesbaden in the first round of the junior DFB Cup. The striker, celebrated as a child prodigy, scores at will this season too.
Two games, six Moukoko goals
At the start of the Junior Bundesliga two weeks ago, Moukoko had also scored three times in the 5-0 win against Preußen Münster. The striker is still waiting for his Bundesliga debut, which he could celebrate in November after his 16th birthday.
The only reason that he could not score goals against Aachen last weekend was that Alemannia had been sent to a 14-day quarantine after a positive Corona case. The team was only able to train again on Friday, but BVB rejected requests to postpone the game.
