Worst audience in history for Game 1 of the NBA Finals

Since the recovery in the bubble, NBA audiences are bad, like those of the conference finals, which have been in free fall. And the audience of Game 1 of the finals is in the same vein. It simply recorded the worst audience in history (since the audience for the NBA Finals is known) with just 7.41 million viewers on average on ABC.

So far the worst final audience in history was for Game 2 of the 2003 Finals between the Nets and Spurs. The worst audience for a Game 1 was the Spurs – Cavaliers in 2007 with 9.21 million viewers.

This is a decrease of 45% compared to last year since Game 1 between the Warriors and the Raptors had gathered 13.38 million viewers and 58% less than in 2018 with Warriors – Cavaliers (17.67 million)

It remains the most watched show in the United States the day before yesterday.
