Workshops faces Hurricane this Wednesday: time, TV and the possible 11

Workshops will face this Wednesday the first of the friendlies of the tour that began in Buenos Aires. From 9.30 am and with television on TNT Sports, the team led by Alexander Medina will face Huracán de Parque Patricios, at the Tomás Adolfo Ducó stadium.

Yes, yes, the same rival and setting for the Talleres that played for the last time and for the points, back on March 15th. That time it was 3-0 and thus the Albiazul team was able to finish eighth in the season, which allowed it to qualify for the South American Cup 2021, after AFA ended the Super League Cup (only one date was played) due to the pandemic.

Now, 206 days later, Talleres will face “Globo” as part of a pre-competitive tour with a view to the start of the Professional League Cup, which will start on October 23.

Of that final “11” that “el Cacique” put, only Nahuel Tenaglia, Rafael Pérez, Enzo Díaz, Diego Valoyes and Tomás Pochettino remain, while the rest of the players were sold or assigned by the president of Talleres in the search to guarantee the economic health of the club whose income fell by 80 percent in the pandemic.

Talleres would play with Franco Fragueda (Mauricio Caranta is recovering from an injury that already prevented him from being in last Saturday’s friendly against the Institute); Nahuel Tenaglia, Juan Cruz Komar, Rafael Pérez and Enzo Díaz; Tomás Pochettino and Conrado Puigdellivol; Aldo Araujo, Joel So Señora (goes for the kid Gonzalo Álvez), Diego Valoyes; Favio Cabral.

How was the last team you put in the Ducó?

The one who beat Huracán 3-0 on March 15, on the first date of the unfinished Super League Cup, played with Guido Herrera (on loan at Malatyaspor in Turkey); Tenaglia, Pérez, Facundo Medina (sold to Lens) and Díaz; Tomás Pochettino and Andrés Cubas (transferred to Nimes); Guilherme Parede (loaned to Vasco da Gama), Franco Fragapane (loaned to Fortaleza of Brazil) and Diego Valoyes; Nahuel Bustos (sold to City Group which loaned it to Girona).

The substitutes for that day were Mauricio Caranta, Javier Gandolfi, Juan Komar, Martín Payero (returned to Banfield), José Mauri, Dayro Moreno (is in Once Caldas) and Jonathan Ménendez (returned to Independiente).
