Waasland-Beveren quickly cleared its first hurdle in the Belgian Cup. Sparta Petegem was unable to surprise in the 5th round of the Croky Cup. RWDM is also pushing through, for Deinze the cup adventure is already over.
During the international break, not all first graders enjoy some rest. Waasland-Beveren and OHL have to work in the fifth round of the Belgian Cup, because 18 clubs play in 1A this season.
Waasland-Beveren completed its first assignment without any problems. It became 3-0 against Sparta Petegem (second national). Top scorer Daan Heymans, among others, picked up his goal.
1B club RWDM held a shooting practice against Rochefort (third national). Rocha, taken over from Eupen, contributed to a big 1-8 victory with his hat-trick. For Deinze it is already over after one match in the Cup. Tessenderlo managed to do this in the extensions.
OHL will play against Knokke (first national) tomorrow. The other clubs from 1B will then also start their cup adventure.
