Stefanos Tsitsipas gave his first two sets against Jaume Munar in the first round in Paris – and not a single one since then.
In the quarter-finals against the Russian child prodigy Alex Rublev, he lined up wins 13, 14 and 15 en suite. Tsitsipas is not getting off to a good start and is 3: 5 behind. Then he turns the thing, bags the sentence 7: 5 and thus already breaks the resistance of his opponent.
Rublev is no longer up to speed, so that the Greek moves into the semifinals with a sovereign 7: 5, 6: 2, 6: 2 victory.
There either Novak Djokovic or Pablo Carreno Busta is waiting for Tsitsipas. The Serb and the Spaniard make the last semi-finalists among themselves on Wednesday evening.
