Transfers: Terem Moffi (Kortrijk) has signed a four-year contract with Lorient – foot – transfers

It was only a matter of days and FC Lorient officially announced this Thursday the arrival of Terem Moffi (21), the Nigerian striker from KV Kortrijk (Belgian D1), for the next four seasons.

Passed by two Lithuanian clubs, FK Zalgiris Kaunas and FK Riteriai, with whom he notably participated in the qualifying round for the Europa League, before joining Belgium, Terem Moffi performed well under the jersey of Kortrijk, where he scored five goals in nine games last season.

“Terem will bring us his power, his technique and his agility in the face of goal”

Christophe Pelissier, Lorient coach

“I am very honored to wear the Lorient colors and to play in Ligue 1. I have worked a lot in recent seasons to get this magnificent opportunity. I join a high quality group, with talented players, and it’s up to me now to show my qualities to impose myself among the Hake. I can’t wait to make my debut with FC Lorient and make my contribution to this club which has placed its trust in me ”, he declared on the FCL website.

Christophe Pelissier, the Merlus coach, admitted to being just as satisfied: “ Terem is a player that we have followed for many weeks and has a profile that we were looking for. He quickly adapted to European football. Terem thus reinforces our attack and he will bring us his power, his technique and his agility in the face of goal. We are delighted to see him join us today ».

This arrival should speed up the departure of Umut Bozok, the former Nîmes striker, on whom Pelissier does not seem to rely too much this season.
