Ahausen (r / as). “The summer season went well”, summarizes Bernd Cordes from the Aue tennis club in Ahausen. And there is a reason for that: Despite Corona, six teams were involved in the tournament and, from the point of view of the club, achieved good placements.
But apart from the tournament, everything went smoothly: “The groundskeeper did a good job. As a result, the training and game conditions were good, ”says the TC press release. The four courts were well used by the tennis school and normal game operations.
The tennis players concluded the season with the double tournament at the end of the summer: “Good-humored players from almost all age groups took part. It was a good opportunity to compete against each other, ”says the press release from the club. Ingo Steinig stood out as the best player of the day, everyone had a lot of fun. In between there was coffee, cake and cold drinks. Finally, the athletes let the day end with a barbecue together. This is not only possible during the summer seasons, but also indoors in winter.
