Talk about the Schools of Personal Defense and Mini Basketball

The Sports Director, Sebastián Acevedo and professors Ramiro Zapata and Iván Lutczak participated in the talk.

The Sports Directorate informs that within the framework of the Tax Education month, a talk was held on the Schools of Personal Defense and Mini Basketball, dictated by professors Ramiro Zapata and Iván Lutczak respectively.

During the talk, which included the participation of the Sports Director, Sebastián Acevedo, they spoke about the beginnings of the two schools.

Personal Defense is a method of physical and psychic practice to avoid and anticipate possible aggressions or attempted aggression through learned tactics.

These techniques do not have to have physical control but can be control techniques aimed at achieving objectives such as self-confidence, security, personal growth that allows the development of meaning.

The types of martial arts are: Karate, Aikido, Taekwondo, Kack boxing, Krav Maga, Boxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitusu. The Mini Basketball School had its beginnings in the Municipal Gymnasium and in the Juan B Justo Gymnasium.

At first the classes were held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Municipal Gymnasium, and on Wednesdays and Fridays at the Juan B. Justo Gymnasium. Currently the activity only takes place in the Juan B. Justo Gym.

The classes are free and free and the ages are between 6 and 10 years old.
