Clarence Seedorf is the only player who can win the Champions League at three different clubs. Cristiano Ronaldo can match him?
Ronaldo is still trying to bring Juventus to the Champions League. Two seasons in a Bianconeri uniform, CR7 has not been able to do it, after only being able to advance to the quarter-finals. Last season, Ronaldo et al were even eliminated in the last 16.
This achievement made Ronaldo clearly challenged, considering that he had good achievements in the Champions League. He is a player who has won the Big Ear trophy five times, with details once at Manchester United and four times at Real Madrid.
Now, Ronaldo is also trying to bring Juventus to the title too, after fasting for the title since 1996. If possible, then Ronaldo will match Seedorf’s achievements, as a player who can win at three different clubs. Seedorf himself won at Ajax Amsterdam, AC Milan and Real Madrid.
“It would be great if Cristiano Ronaldo could match my record. We could talk about someone different, right? So, I think that’s not a bad thing,” he said, as reported by Mundo Deportivo.
“I will always be first, and that will not change. The record is there to be matched and broken.
“Juventus can certainly always be a contender in the Champions League. As I said before, Cristiano still maintains his motivation and performance, so yes. Why not?” he said.
This season, Juventus itself is joined by Barcelona, Dynamo Kiev and Ferencravos in Group G. So, can Ronaldo match Seedorf’s record this year?
