The third racket of the tournament, Dominik Tim, from Austria, conceded to Argentine Diego Schwartzman in the quarterfinals of the “French Open” tournament in Paris on Tuesday.

Schwarzmann beat Tim with 7-6 (7: 1), 5-7, 6-7 (6: 8), 7-6 (7: 5), 6-2.

The Schwartzman will be faced in the semi-finals by the twelve-time “Roland Garros” champion Rafael Nadal from Spain or Janniks Zinner from Italy.

In the first set of Taiwan, Schwarzmann scored five unanswered points before taking the lead after the first set.

Schwarzmann, with the result 4-4 in the second set, repelled seven breakballs, but in the 11th family he lost his serving game, Tim reached a draw 1-1.

The Argentine was upset when he missed the chance to win the third set, unable to serve the set after 5-3.

“I was crazy, shouting and talking to my coach,” Schwarzmann explained in a post-match interview.

“I was so nervous and didn’t use my chances in the second or third set, but meeting in the semi-finals is a big step for me,” he added.

It was a tiring match for Tim after the triumph in the US Open, as the previous five sets against Igo Gaston also made themselves felt in the last round.

Tim spent every cry of energy to advance 5: 1 in the third set of Taiwan and win the third set.

Both tennis “gladiators” were up to another Thai in the fourth game, when Schwarzmann played 1-3.

Setu Tim lost the ball in the box.

Tim’s reserve was over when the sixth hour of the match began, and he threw the ball into the net twice in a row.

On Tuesday, Nadals and Zinners (ATP 75.) have already left the field, who started their fight for the semifinals.

Women

Argentine player Nadia Podoroska, who qualified, was eliminated from the fight for victory by Ukrainian tennis player Yelina Switolyn in the third final of the French Open Championship on Tuesday.

Podoroska with 6-2, 6-4 shattered the hopes of Ukrainians Yelina Switolina.

Podoroska, who ranks only 131st in the world, has never played in the main event of the French Open or against one of the top ten in the world.

The 23-year-old tennis player went down in history as she became the first female athlete to reach the semi-finals of Roland Garros.

In the fight between Podoroski and Switolina, in 80 minutes, the athletes managed to win the game 13 times by serving the opponent.

“It was very difficult for me to focus today,” Switolina said after the match. “It simply came to my notice then. I gave her a chance to play really good tennis. ”

“I think Nadja played very well today and didn’t give me a chance to come back to the match,” she added.

Podoroska finished the series of six breaks in a row in the second set, leading to 4-4, reaching 5-4.

The fifth number in the world ranking saved two matchballs in Svitoolina’s tenth game, including one after 27 strokes, but in the third attempt Podoroska celebrated the biggest triumph of his career after a strike from the comfort side.

Podoroska’s fight continues against another unsown player, Polish tennis player Igu Švjontek, who previously knocked out the first numbered Romanian Simon Simon Halep from the tournament.

On Tuesday, Schwonton defeated Italian Martin Trevisana 6-3, 6-1.

Now there are only two tennis players left in the women’s tournament – the seventh numbered Czech Petra Kvitova and the “Australian Open” champion Sofia Sofia Kenina, who is placed in the fourth number.

Kvitova will play against Laura Siegemunda from Germany in the quarterfinals on Wednesday, while Kenina will meet with Deniel Collins in a fight between two US tennis players.

The first number from Australia’s Ashley Barthy, the new “US Open” champion Naomi Osaka from Japan, as well as the talented Canadian Bianka Andresco will not start in the women’s competition in the French Open this season.

The Roland Garros tournament was due to take place this year from May 25 to June 7, but in mid-March it was postponed to autumn and is the last Grand Slam of the season.

The tournament takes place on clay.
