The Real Madrid captain has conceded the nomination with great pride, publishing on his social networks a photograph to say the least extravagant. To their 34 years his individual record continues to grow, although on more than one occasion he has downplayed those awards. “If I had wanted to win individual titles I would have dedicated myself to tennis”said last year after being awarded the award for best eleven FIFA.
