PSG: Marquinhos hit in the left thigh with Brazil

This could turn into very bad news for PSG. Before the marathon of seven games in less than three weeks, the capital club saw its captain Marquinhos injured with his selection Tuesday night. The Brazilian defender came out in the 11th minute of play when his team won in Peru (4-2) thanks in particular to a hat-trick from Neymar.

The exact diagnosis is not yet established. A source from the Brazilian Football Confederation told AFP that he had felt “pain in the left thigh” after a collision with a Peruvian opponent. Marquinhos was unfortunately involved in the opening scoring of Peru with a poor recovery in the axis.

On social networks, his partner Carol Cabrino does not reveal more. “I hope it’s nothing serious,” she simply expressed. The Brazilian will now find France and Paris. Suspended against Nîmes this Friday, he would not have made the trip to the South anyway. But in case of too much injury, he could give up on Tuesday’s Champions League opener against Manchester United at Parc des Princes.
