There are two weeks left until the start of the League and that means that the team is sharpening weapons. Last week they played the first friendly, against Gernika, and today they were going to play against Getxo, but the match has been suspended due to some case of coronavirus in the Getxo club.
The objective is to get a title and there the Cup comes into play, although the draw was not benign, with Cisneros and El Salvador
In addition, the presentation of the Ordiziarra club coincided with the publication of the season calendar, the competition format and the draw for the Cup.
The draw for the calendar revealed that on the first day, in two weeks, he will face Independiente de Santander in Altamira. On the second day, on November 1, he will travel to Burgos to face the Surveyors.
The competition format is new, at least in what corresponds to the regular League, since there will not be two traditional rounds. In the first, they will play everyone against everyone and therefore, each team will play eleven games, six at home and five away or vice versa. Two groups in the second round
Afterwards, the teams will be divided into two groups of six, with each team playing five games. The second is made up of teams classified between seventh and twelfth place. Here, the first two will qualify for the playoff for the title, the penultimate will have to contest the promotion of promotion and relegation and the last one is automatically relegated.
