New England Patriots running back James White was out of the lineup against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday night when he learned of his father’s death before the game.
According to what Ian Rapoport and Mike Giardi reported from NFL Network, Tyrone James was killed in a car accident. James’ mother Lisa was also in the car and she is in critical condition.
The 28-year-old White is in his seventh campaign with the Patriots. He has won the Super Bowl on three occasions since the start of his career.
