Unfortunately, some sometimes go too far, and this is especially true in the case of the Lakers back. A good reason for some to avoid Twitter and company, especially in case of poor performance.
The slightest missed shot, the slightest missed performance, and it’s often a torrent of criticism that falls on social networks. One thing to which LeBron James is used to it, which nonetheless remains unacceptable. Michael Jordan obviously agrees.
His Airness didn’t need to worry about all that. But how would he have handled it if he had played in our time? Is Jordan would have been adulated or often criticized? The person thought he had the answer in 2017, when he gave his opinion. And for once, his admission is quite surprising coming from him.

I don’t know if I could have survived on Twitter, where you don’t necessarily have the privacy you want, and what seems very innocent can very often be misinterpreted.
With the performances, and even the comments in front of the media: the current players must be careful of everything. Otherwise, the slightest sentence can sometimes be diverted, isolated from the rest, and thus trigger a certain controversy. An approach to things that has changed a lot, and that did not exist in Jordan’s time.
Michael Jordan did not play in the days of social media, and good for him. In his defense, he still played at a time when basketball was much more physical than today. It largely catches up with everything.
