Kylian Mbappe has warned Edinson Cavani that he has no qualms about facing his former Paris Saint-Germain teammate and will look to beat him when Manchester United visits Paris next week.
United will celebrate their long-awaited return to the Champions League on Tuesday when they face PSG in the Group H opening match.
The game is also an opportunity for a quick reunion with his old club for Cavani, who left the Parisians after his contract expired last summer.
Cavani are looking to make his debut for United against his old side but Mbappe has made it clear that their friendship will be set aside for the 90 minutes.
“Not at all, he’s on a different team now,” the Frenchman told TF1. “I wish him all the best. We will play against him and try to beat him.”
