Liverpool: Klopp worried about Fabinho

Confronted with the uncompensated departure of Dejan Lovren and the long unavailability of Virgil van Dijk, Liverpool coach Jürgen Klopp recently replaced midfielder Fabinho (27, 1 game in LoC this season) in central defense in awaiting the return of Joël Matip. Bad luck, the Brazilian came out on injury after only 30 minutes against Midtyjlland (2-0) on Tuesday in the Champions League. And the German was not reassuring about his condition after the meeting.

“It’s really the last thing we needed (big sigh). He felt something in the adductors and it’s never good. He said he wasn’t in so much pain, he could go on. but no longer sprint, but at his post, it is not possible. You have to do exams, but it’s not good, “commented the technician, worried.

Proof of the slaughter that strikes this sector of play, Klopp was forced to launch the young Rhys Williams (19 years old, 3 games in all competitions this season) following the exit of the former Monegasque.
