Lidl Starligue: The Ivry-Montpellier meeting, scheduled for Saturday, also postponed

The meeting between Ivry and Montpellier, initially scheduled for this Saturday and counting for the 7th day of the championship, has been postponed due to the health crisis.

Six players in the MHB workforce have indeed tested positive for Covid-19 following tests carried out on Thursday. As Montpellier can not present twelve professionals, including a goalkeeper, it therefore does not respond to the protocol set up by the National Handball League (LNH).

Patrice Canayer’s team, who has not played since October 11 and the draw conceded against Nantes (27-27), has six games behind in all competitions.

This meeting is the seventh postponed for the 7th day of Lidl Starligue, after Istres – Chartres, Cesson – Chambéry, Dunkirk – Nîmes, Toulouse – Tremblay, Saint-Raphaël – Aix and Nantes – Créteil.
