Kyrgios gets roomed by Antetokounmpo and Tsitsipas

Giannis Antetokounmpo and Stefanos Tsitsipas, the two Greeks, titillated Nick Kyrgios about Rafael Nadal, who would be the new idol of the basketball player. All in a very good-natured atmosphere between the three friends.

Until then, Nick Kyrgios was Giannis Antetokounmpo’s favorite tennis player. But the Greek star of the Milwaukee Bucks, finding his compatriot Stefanos Tsitsipas, visibly felt the need to confess: “He has something to tell you”, warns first the world No. 5, very recent semi-finalist of Roland-Garros (defeat in five sets against Novak Djokovic), for the attention of his Australian friend. “You were my favorite tennis player, but now it’s Rafael Nadal, because I love him”, claims the NBA giant, for no other reason than that of his flaming heart – but it is of course the better. As indicated by his name, Nick Kyrgios has strong ties to Greece, since it is the country of his father Giorgios who emigrated to Australia.

It is no coincidence that the “Greek Freak” and Stefanos Tsitsipas chose the name of Rafael Nadal, not really Nick Kyrgios’ best friend on the circuit … “They play too much”, he simply added, plunging happily into teasing, the whimsical tennis player who himself served as a relay to broadcast this video (probably private, therefore, at the base). It is also he who, on Tuesday, posted another message where Giannis Antetokounmpo tries to be forgiven, still filmed by Stefanos Tsitsipas by the beach in Greece: “I love you, I’m a big fan. I just watched ten minutes of your madness on video. You’re nuts, but I still love you.” Nick Kyrgios has always expressed his love for the NBA, notably arriving with Kobe Bryant’s jersey at the Australian Open to pay tribute to him.
