Jordi Farré announces that he will take legal action if the vote of censure against Bartomeu’s board is delayed

Jordi Farré, as the promoter of the vote of censure against Josep Maria Bartomeu and his entire board of directors, has announced that he will take legal action against the board in case the club does not formally convene the vote on Monday, the last day to do so.

If on Monday the 26th the club has not yet called a vote on the motion of censure, Farré says the board would commit a “flagrant breach of the club’s bylaws”, which mark that the maximum time to cast ballots is 20 working days that they begin to count from the notification of the table requirement.

Barça is pressuring the Government to postpone the censorship vote

At first, the Barça board announced that the probable date for the vote of censure was November 1, although this Wednesday evening, after the meeting between Barça and Generalitat officials to study the protocol of the vote of censure and the return of the public to the stadium and the Palace, club sources already said that it would take “at least fifteen days” to adapt the motion to the changes demanded by Health and the Secretary General of Sport, which are basically to pass 13 to 21 polling stations and two to three voting days to avoid crowds.
