LONDON – Jürgen Klopp, Liverpool manager, praised the signing of Colombian James Rodríguez by Everton and called the Toffees transfer market “the perfect deal.”
The German coach spoke at the BBC before the derby against Everton this Saturday that will open the day in England.
“I couldn’t respect Carlo Ancelotti more. He is a fantastic person. When I heard that he was signing for Everton I thought “uuh this is the next challenge,” explained the German.
“They have done the perfect business in the summer. They have found exactly the players they need to improve and have created a good soccer team,” Klopp said.
“They have world-class players on both bands, with Richarlison and James Rodríguez, plus Allan in midfield, so it’s a very good team. It’s going to be a very interesting game, “said the coach.
