International Federation intervenes in Mexican tennis

After five election processes have been held this year to define the new Board of Directors of the Mexican Tennis Federation (FMT), which caused a series of judicial complaints and legal processes between Mario Chávez and Carlos González, since both are assumed as presidents of the body, the International Tennis Federation (ITF, for acronym in English) has already issued its position regarding the struggle that permeates the leadership of the organization and consigned the possibility of ignoring Mexico if the parties involved disregard your requests.

David Haggerty, President of the ITF, issued a letter addressed to the FMT membership with a copy to the Mexican Olympic Committee, Conade and the Dominican Persio Maldonado, president of the Central American and Caribbean Tennis Confederation (COTECC), to express that: he is unaware of both fronts of the FMT after identifying numerous irregularities in the calls and the execution of all the elective assemblies.
