Fifa will open a branch in Paris

Fifa will open a branch in Paris in early 2021, after an “agreement” on Monday, October 5 between French President Emmanuel Macron and the head of the body Gianni Infantino, announced on Tuesday the queen organization of world football. This is “to consolidate its relations with France and the Francophonie, as well as UNESCO and the French Development Agency” for the body based in Zurich, which did not specify the number of employees concerned and their activity. The teams of “Choose France”, the French program intended to attract foreign investors, must now work on the “operational modalities” of this establishment, writes Fifa in a press release. Founded in Paris in 1904 by the French, Belgian, Dutch, Spanish, Swedish, Swiss and Danish football federations, chaired from 1920 to 1954 by the French father of the World Cup Jules Rimet, Fifa has been based in Switzerland since 1932.
