This Wednesday evening, France learned of its total reconfinement, as in the spring. A perspective to which Evan Fournier did not fail to react, between support and criticism.
Here we go again. While a total re-containment still seemed totally unimaginable a few weeks ago, France will again be confined for at least 4 weeks. The objective is clear: to stop the spread of an epidemic that has clearly become out of control, and to limit the damage as much as possible.
This announcement by Emmanuel Macron obviously caused a lot of emotion among the tens of millions of French people glued to their television sets. We are thinking in particular of traders, entrepreneurs, artisans or even intermittent entertainment workers, who are going to live through very difficult days again.
In this delicate evening, basketball fans can at least find support in the person of Evan Fournier. While he will quickly return to Orlando, where the resumption of the season awaits him in a few weeks, the Frenchman sent his support to his compatriots:
Courage la miff, I know it’s hard but we will get by. ????????????????

The rear of the Magic was also amazed at the too few resuscitation beds available in France for his taste, after the figures announced by the President:
What I remembered is that there are only 10,000 intensive care beds in France? Seems nothing right?

Regardless, the French now have to step back, once again, in a 2020 that definitely looks like a long endless tunnel.
Evan Fournier’s support is a small drop in the ocean, but good vibes are good to be taken in this dreary time. The Parlons Basket editorial staff wish good luck to all those affected by the country’s re-containment, and more particularly to hospital staff, entrepreneurs, traders and those whose work is in jeopardy. Better days will come.
