Eagles’ Malik Jackson goes viral for a genius veteran train on Sunday night

At 30, Eagle’s defensive tackle against Malik Jackson was close a time or two. He’s a real professional.

And in the win against the 49ers on Sunday evening, Jackson proved his experience with a really brilliant veteran train in the dramatic final minutes.

football as the 49ers attempted to punch the ball into the end zone." data-reactid="21">With the ball at the 1-yard line and the Eagles at 11 am, the game’s referees were trying to figure out where exactly the soccer ball should be placed when the 49ers tried to hit the ball into the end zone.

When the referees turned away from the ball for a second to speak to the other members of their crew, Jackson pounced:

This is a next level defensive game by Jackson. I wonder if this is a Jim Schwartz tactic or if Jackson brought it with him from one of his previous stops in the league. It’s just subtle enough.

And it’s awesome because if an attacking 49er lineman tried to push it back, I would have bet that by then at least one referee would have turned around and seen the retribution game art and then brought it back to where Jackson pushed it. Really brilliant.

NFL commentator Emmanuel Acho chimed in with some real NFL savvy:" data-reactid="26">Former Eagles linebacker and current NFL commentator Emmanuel Acho mixed in with real NFL know-how:

It’s only cheating if you get caught, right?

Every inch was important to Sunday night’s victory, including this one.
