Draymond gets annoyed: “That we don’t talk about him, it’s embarrassing”

Warriors Wire – USA Today

The praise has multiplied since Game 3 towards Jimmy Butler for his XXL performance. The other Heat stars are also congratulated for all of their work in these playoffs, but there is one that is much more snubbed. And that dismays Draymond Green.

Let it be said, the Heat has undoubtedly achieved one of the most beautiful courses of recent years in the playoffs, and even in history. A team outside the top 4 of its conference which goes until the Finals, it only happened twice in history: the Knicks (8th in the East in 1999) and the Rockets (6th in the West in 1995), who finished champions.

Whether the Heat win or lose these Finals, they are already acclaimed for their journey. Whether it be Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, Goran Dragic or the rookies Tyler Herro and Kendrick Nunn, everyone got their fair share of praise. Everybody ? Not really. Jae Crowder seems completely transparent in the reviews, and that doesn’t appeal to Draymond Green. The Warrior complained about it in a series of tweets.

The lack of consideration / love for Jae Crowder during this bubble is embarrassing for the integrity of basketball as a whole.

It just shows that those who are supposed to know this game don’t know it as well as they think…. or present it.

As for the players on their team, Jae Crowder is top 3 among the most important that allowed the Heat to advance to the Finals. Little respect and recognition given to what he brings to this team.

Jae Crowder is one of those players whose impact isn’t really felt on the stats sheet, which tends to downplay it. His contribution is however very important in the game, it is a 3 & D as many teams would like to have and which can make the difference in the League today.

In the shadow of the superstars and talented rookies of this Heat team, Jae Crowder is not fully recognized. For Draymond Green, this is a very regrettable analytical error.
