This Thursday a letter was made public where ADEMBA announces its intention to have a dialogue with basketball authorities worldwide and therefore presents a Commission to negotiate with FIBA and try to resume communication with the governing body of basketball to world level.
In the document, it is explained that this commission is created at the request of some members of the General Assembly and therefore, Xóchitl Lagarda, president of the Mexican Basketball Association, has already informed FIBA about the existence of this group that will be integrated by Arturo Guerrero as National Advisor of ADEMEBA, Manuel Santandreu, President of ADEMEBA Tabasco, in addition to Leonardo Antonio Félix Ruiz and Estanislao Martínez.
It was announced that, alongside this Commission, another Vigilance Commission is being created whose purpose will be that the actions are carried out with transparency.
Hopefully progress will be made and this federative situation that continues to disturb the Mexican basketball family will be unblocked.
