WITHTwo years after his death, boxer Graciano Rocchigiani’s gravestone was unveiled in a cemetery in Berlin-Schöneberg.
“I’m just happy that the tomb has finally been erected. Now my father is being honored as he deserves it. I am here almost every day if possible. The pain won’t go away either, but you have to come to terms with it, ”said Rocchigiani’s daughter Janina Michalke to the“ Berliner Kurier ”.
Rocchigiani was hit by a pedestrian in Sicily on October 1st, 2018 and later died of his injuries. There was a dispute within the family about the type of burial site.
