Bradley Beal at the Golden State Warriors for a murderous trio?

A little less than a month before the NBA 2020 Draft, inevitably, things are starting to stir in the rumors section. What the Golden State Warriors will do with their No. 2 pick is very intriguing. If in our Mock Draft we had started with the idea that the Californians would keep their choice, the insiders of the league are tracking any movement that would indicate that Golden State has a more experienced target in mind. ESPN’s Brian Windhorst echoed a potential trade that would make the Warriors a “superteam” again. The star in question: Bradley Beal.

Beal and the Washington Wizards say all day long that they don’t want to go their separate ways. But few are the intransferable players in this league. The right offer could crack Washington, which knows it is blocked by a lack of overall talent, unless John Wall and his XXL contract return in a form worthy of the name in 2021. Windhorst therefore imagined an approach of the Warriors in these terms like that:

Bradley Beal at Golden State against Andrew Wiggins, Wolves’ No.2 and 2nd round 2021 pick, whom the Dubs had recovered. On paper, it’s obviously a lot sexier for the Warriors than it is for the Wizards, especially with this particular Draft class where it’s difficult to really gauge the potential of prospects. A Stephen Curry-Klay Thompson-Bradley Beal trio is sure to terrify absolutely any team in the league.

Bradley Beal, his new positive message on his relationship with John Wall

For Washington, the idea may nonetheless be attractive. In case the season does not go as well as hoped again, with some hero ball around Bradley Beal, will there really be a lot of offers with such high picks going forward for the Wizards?

As a reminder, Bradley Beal is under contract until 2023 with the Wizards, but has a player option in 2022. So far, the former Florida fullback has always proclaimed his love for the federal capital and his desire to stay, but things change fast in the NBA
