Women’s Third Basketball is back
In the coming days, the first Women’s Basketball Tournament called ‘Family Odontology’ will be starting, which will be held at the Edmundo Castro Núñez Gymnasium of the Siglo XXI Sports Unit, as pointed out by the coordinator Martín López Tirado.
The tournament will be in the modality of thirds and will only be for the female branch, since a group of young women approached the teacher to help them carry out the competition.
The tournament will take place on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and only four teams will be taking part, being the case of Vixens, Cobra Kai, The Purgue and All Stars.
The players that make up the thirds are Valeria Camargo de la Rosa, Miriam Segovia Dimas, Angie Vargas Cantú, Jaqueline Euresti, Astrid Ortíz, Mabel Pérez, Carolina Vázquez, Lucía Crespo, Graciela Galván, Nayma Mendiola, Natalia Olivares and Jennie Aguilar.
Finally, López Tirado pointed out if the Edmundo Castro Núñez Gymnasium has not loaned them, they will look for a private field to carry out the tournament. That will have cash prizes of 600 pesos to the first place and 400 to the second, playing two times of ten minutes for five rest.
