For his entry into the championship of National 3, the CAB 61 did not go far from faultless.

Alençon (Orne), who received Moor of Brittany (Ille-et-Vilaine) as part of the first day of the championship badminton, won without difficulty (7-1), in particular thanks to his three recruits, Audrey Lecavelier, Lison Mesnil-Perret and Maximilien Lamblot.

The services of the latter are appreciated by the captain of Alençon, Yann Lemesle:

We had made a composition to allow many spectators to see our three transferred players in action and to allow these newcomers to integrate quickly into the group. They fulfilled the objectives since all three of them were victorious. “

Too strong in duplicate

Favorites, the Alençonnais, who are aiming for participation in the playoffs with a view to climbing to the next level, were first set in motion during the women’s and men’s doubles. Lison Mesnil-Perret (N3) and Audrey Lecavelier (R5) dominated Amélie Soulaine (R6) and Bérengère Tetedoux (D7) in straight sets. Before their male counterparts Louis-Théo Hamard (N2) and Kévin Beauvois (N3) imitate them against Jérôme Vicent (R5) and Madeg Renault (R6) to bring the score to 2-0.

In singles, Diane Lemesle (N1) gave her team a third point by conceding no set and only 23 points to her opponent, Anne-Laure Guehenneuc (N2): 3-0. The young Charlotte Linero (R4), however, could not get rid of Amélie Soulaine (R6) despite a good battle in three sets (16-21; 21-18; 17-21): 3-1.

Hugo Hanecart (N2) and Maximilien Lamblot (N2) battled against Gurvan Renault (N2) and Madeg Renault but made the difference, each time, in a final controlled set to bring the score to 5-1 and ensure the victory to their team.

The mixed doubles could not change the face of the meeting and the CAB took place thanks to the pairs Louis-Théo Hamard-Lison Mesnil Perret and Maximilien Lamblot-Audrey Lecavelier, allowing, in passing, to Alençon not to concede any doubles set.

For Yann Lemesle:

Our victory is logical in view of the meeting. We wish a speedy recovery to Bérengère Tetedoux, who was unfortunately injured in the last mixed match ”, which therefore could not go to completion.

Thanks to this large victory, the CAB takes the lead of pool 8, tied with Saint-Jacques-de-la-Lande, winner by the same score of Spay, Alençon’s next opponent.

Next meeting: Saturday 10 October, Spay – Alençon (at Spay).
