Odense (AP) – The German badminton mixed Mark Lamsfuß and Isabel Herttrich has won the Danish Open.

The duo from Wipperfeld and Bischmisheim, which is ranked 17th in the world, beat the English in Odense in the final of the US $ 170,000 World Tour tournament with 18:21, 21:11, 21:14 Chris Adcock and Gabriela Adcock prevail.

The tournament in Denmark is one of the most important on the international tournament calendar. Only in 1972 was a German mixed with Wolfgang Bochow and Marieluise Wackerow able to win the title. For Lamsfuß and Herttrich it is the greatest success of their careers.
