Roger Federer’s return to the courts is getting closer. On the occasion of a virtual press conference in collaboration with the Zurich sneaker brand On for which he presented his second range of shoes, the Swiss notably spoke about his convalescence and his return to the courts.
“I’m fine, my family is fine. It’s a long process (after his knee surgery), not improving day by day but more week by week. I practiced a bit last week. Next year, at the beginning of January, I will be back on the courts. In the meantime, I spend time with my family in Switzerland ”Roger said before explaining what he did in his spare time.
“I don’t have the stress of the matches”
“The last time I was at home for over 6 weeks was when I was 16. Being at home is more relaxing, not only for me but also for my children… I was able to sleep a little because sometimes I go to bed late. I don’t have the stress of games. I take this opportunity to do a few hikes ”.
