Triple Premier League Tiger Jack Riewoldt has cast his own Norm Smith votes for Richmond’s triumph over Geelong – for the 48 hours since the victory.
The striker agreed with the judges that Dustin Martin was the best on the floor – he was the first player to win three Norm Smith medals – giving runner-up Jayden Short two votes and Shane Edwards one.
But Riewoldt was more interested in poking fun at teammate Nathan Broad, who accidentally got two votes from the chairman and AFL legend Leigh Matthews.

“Did I? I thought I was gone, Martin, Short and (Shane) Edwards,” Matthews said on the Sunday Footy Show.
“All I can say is that this is the worst mistake that has ever happened because when I write down the name Broad instead of the name Short, at the end of the game I was urged to write them down quickly.
“I’m glad Short didn’t miss a few votes. If I put Broad down, it was a very big mistake on my part. It was definitely Short, two, and Edwards, one. “

Riewoldt and the Tigers clearly had fun with Broad’s situation during their post-Grand Final celebrations.
“Well, I wouldn’t have given Nathan Broad two votes, I can tell you,” joked Riewoldt of Fox Footys AFL 360.
“He smiles like a Cheshire cat Broady and says, ‘I have two voices in Norm Smith’. Nobody had the heart to tell him that Lethal wasn’t even about to vote for him.
“I would have given Dustin three, Shorty (Jayden Short). I thought it was fantastic, I would have given him two.
“And I probably would have given Shane (Edwards) one, Shane has been great and his inclusion on the team over the past five weeks should not be underestimated. What he offers, he’s a great player and he got the final series going so well. “
Riewoldt has also cast his Norm Smith votes for the party since the victory on Saturday night.
“Three votes won’t come as a surprise. D Martin had a neat crack, ”he said.
“We had a damn good day yesterday, it was a lot of fun.
“I think (Tom) Lynchy is probably two, he’s the Gold Coast Mayor as he fondly reminds us.
“And I’ll give one to Dion Prestia.”
