Here’s the latest from San Francisco. More injuries have occurred in the 49ers, causing them to change a previous strategy. But the 4-3 team also received good news in the health sector.

  • Dante Pettis seems to be out of the trading bloc. The 49ers lost Deebo Samuel and Richie James to injuries during their victory against the Patriots, and Kyle Shanahan said the team will likely stop trading with Pettis via Cam Inman of the San Jose Mercury News now (on twitter). Shanahan previously confirmed the team tried to tackle the 2018 round second wideout, which fell out of favor after showing lightning bolts as a rookie. Pettis could get another chance soon. The ex-Washington Husky has only played sparingly in offensive and special teams this season, but has not had a pass for almost a year.
  • Samuel is facing another several weeks absence. The sophomore recipient suffered a thigh strain that will keep him away from Sunday’s game against the Seahawks. Shanahan expects his number 1 in San Francisco to miss the week 9 game against Green Bay. Samuel hasn’t had much time to build on his strong rookie season. This setback in the Achilles tendon came after missing a few months with a broken foot.
  • While Jeff Wilson As the last 49ers rolled back to go under, the team received good news from a member of their backfield. The 49ers referred to Tevin Coleman to return from IR Wednesday and open the door to the veteran who is back in Seattle after a six-week absence. Should Coleman return, the 49ers will only lose two backs – Wilson and Raheem Mostert. Also called the 49ers Jordan Reed and K’Waun Williams Leave IR. The team has three weeks to activate their IR-DTR players.
  • The fifth of San Francisco’s second half to see the time this season JaMycal Hasty, decided to stay in San Francisco despite the offers to leave. Three teams have expressed an interest in poaching Hasty per agent Scott Casterline from the 49ers’ training team, but the rookie UDFA preferred to stay and wait for an opportunity with a team known to be under Shanahan, Matt Maiocco NBC’s Running Back Committee posts Notes on Sports Bay Area. Hasty, who is now on the team’s 53-man roster, has averaged 5.2 yards per carry in three games.
  • Offensive lineman before signing Tony Bergstrom The 49ers also brought the former bear starter to their training team Ted Larsen and ex-Dolphins first-stringers Evan Boehm for workouts. The 49ers who are expected to be without a starting center Weston Richburg lost until maybe week 12 I am Garland recently.
