The Toronto Raptors were forced to make concessions in the seventh match of the Boston Celtics series with 87:92 (27:26, 19:24, 25:22, 16:20) and in the entire series with 3-4.

In the Celtics, Jason Tatum scored 29 points, won 12 balls under the baskets and scored seven times, Jane Brown scored 21 points, Markus Smärts added 16 points and Kemba Volker added 14 points to the Eastern Conference final for the third time in four seasons.

“If you want to achieve something big, if you want to win, it won’t be easy,” Tatums said. “But it is after the victory that we are here.”

Fred Vanvlit earned 20 points, while four more players scored two double-digit points, “double-double” – 13 points and 11 rebounds – to earn Pascal Siakam.

“We didn’t play great in this series. There’s no denying it. However, almost everything else we did this season was remarkable,” said Toronto unit coach Nick Ners.

Well-known champion Kail Laurijs left the game with 16 points after the sixth-minute infringement match in the last minute, but the Raptors made 18 mistakes, including half a dozen in the fourth quarter, while the opponents had ten mistakes throughout the game.

Smart blocked Siakama at the end of the quarter, when the Boston club was only 89:87 ahead, but Laurie finished the match 35 seconds to the end.

Celtics debutant Grant Williams missed the opportunity to take two free throws, but Tatum made a mistake in two attempts – 90:87.

Vanwell missed the opportunity to equalize the score with a three-point shot with the remaining 12 seconds without the ball hitting the ball, but Volker took two free throws at the end of the second field, fixing the victory.

Won the Eastern Conference finals to meet the Miami Heat.

Meanwhile, at the Western Conference, the Los Angeles Clippers left the Denver Nuggets’ hopes alive, yielding 105: 111 (28:23, 28:21, 24:29, 25:38). The Los Angeles club is still in the 3-2 lead.

The victory for the Denver club, which for the first time took the lead only in the middle of the last quarter, was winged by Jamal Murray in the fourth quarter, with debutant Michael Porter also standing out in several episodes.

Canary, a Canadian, scored 26 points for the team, Nikola Jokičs scored 22 points and 14 rebounds, and made five assists, while Paul Milsaps scored 17 points.

The Nuggets also lost 1-3 in the previous series, but won three consecutive victories over Utah’s Jazz.

Murray was able to stand out after being blocked for the most part by a trio of rotating Clippers defensive players – Cave Lenard, Paul George and Patrick Beverly. He also had eight rebounds and seven assists in the game. In addition, he threw five of the seven three – point shots, while in the fourth match of the series he threw only six shots out of 15.

“We play best with our backs to the wall,” said Murray. “It’s that simple. We improved our performance in the fight. They had a good start, but we had to fight to recover what we lost.”

At the end of the game, Porters played brilliantly in a number of games, including a three-point show from just under nine meters with 71 seconds left on the board, giving the Nuggets a five-point lead of 105: 100.

The 22-year-old Porter surrendered 35 seconds later to Ivica Zubač, and in the last 21 seconds he scored four free throws.

Lenard scored 36 points, adding nine rebounds, while George finished with 26 points in favor of the Clippers, who are trying to advance to their first Western Conference final.

Lenard has scored at least 30 points in seven playoff games this year, and his game average is nearly 30 points, but in his fifth game he lacked support from the Clippers reserve bench.
