US Open 2020 ranking: Live coverage, golf results, Tiger Woods result today in Round 2 at Winged Foot

The first 18 holes at the 2020 US Open, played as easily as Winged Foot, will allow them for the rest of the week. Round two on Friday is expected to include gusty winds, cold temperatures, and firmer greens than we saw on opening day. Hopefully you enjoyed the gate on the first 18 holes because you probably won’t see much of it the rest of the way.

What you will see on Friday are the best golfers in the world trying to keep their heads above the level. Matthew Wolff and Thomas Pieters will leave early after enormous first rounds in which they both shot 4 under. Leader Justin Thomas (-5) will be late, as will Patrick Reed (-4) and Rory McIlroy (-3). We’ll see them battle each other and – perhaps more appropriately – a golf course that will spark a massive battle over the next three days. We’ll also see if Tiger Woods (+3), Dustin Johnson (+3) and Jordan Spieth (+3) can fight for the cut in the first of six majors of the season on Friday.
