DILLENBURG-DONSBACH – (red). “The meanwhile 34th Stonebreaker Cup of the TC Donsbach was still a complete success this year under difficult conditions. The hygiene measures were adhered to perfectly, so that everyone was completely satisfied, ”said Karsten Freischlad from TC Donsbach happily.
A total of twelve doubles started over three days. “I would like to mention Harald Voss. I take off my hat to the now 73-year-old. Harald is very respected in Donsbach and is already a little at home here. He even made it into the final of Group A this year with his partner Wolfgang Petry, ”reported Freischlad. But Michael Freischlad and Steffen Link were too strong there. With 6: 1 and 6: 3 they prevailed safely. The duo Oppermann / Moos landed in third place. In Group B, Klahold / Stäcker won ahead of Kopp / Ditrich. Third place went to the double Gail / Stahl. Brandenburger / Metz were the winners of Group C ahead of Steiner / Rompf and Brautfelder / Thielmann.
“The TC Donsbach would like to thank all participants very warmly and is already looking forward to a hopefully normal edition next year,” said Karsten Freischlad.
