The new Liverpool player has experienced minor symptoms of the disease, but is doing well, the English club announced

Thiago Alcántara, a new Liverpool player, has tested positive for coronavirus. The Spanish footballer, although he has experienced small symptoms of the disease, but is well and “will self-isolate according to the guidelines,” according to the English club.

Thiago was not among the players chosen by Jürgen Klopp to play against Arsenal and Liverpool on Monday, and although it was initially said that it was as a result of some discomfort, this Tuesday it was announced that his absence was due to covid-19. “We have followed all the protocols to the letter and Thiago is fine. He will be back with us soon ”, assured Liverpool.
