The public will make their (shy) comeback at the next Scottish Open – Golf – EPGA

The next Scottish Open will act as a pilot tournament. The Rolex Series event, which will be held from October 1 to 5 on the Scottish Renaissance Club course, will be the first since last March to welcome the public.

650 authorized people

Only 650 people will be allowed and only on Saturday and Sunday of the tournament. The European Tour specified that only Scottish residents of East Lothian and Edinburgh would be able to purchase tickets (the proceeds of which will be donated to charity).

Players and spectators will each be in their own health “bubble”. These will of course be tested before they arrive on site.

The Aberdeen Standard Investments Scottish Open will be the second Rolex Series of a totally transfigured 2020 season. With $ 7 million in prize money, he has already had the confirmation of a few European leaders including Ian Poulter. Bernd Wiesberger won at the Renaissance Club last year in the play-off against Benjamin Hébert.
