Two coronavirus positives have forced to confine the GEiEG Uni of the Women’s League 2. The two cases, asymptomatic, have been known after the PCR tests and, consequently, it has been decided to isolate the team of Joan Pau Torralba.
GEiEG Uni started the pre-season at the end of August and, so far, has been able to carry out training normally. Following the safety measures and recommendations of the health authorities, the Board of Directors of the GEiEG has decided the total equipment confinement, including assistant staff and technical staff. It has also been reported to the Catalan Basketball Federation.
Given the impossibility of being able to play the return match of Lliga Catalana 2 against Advisoria Maresme next Saturday, September 19, the team of Torralba is waiting to know the decision of the Federation on the outcome of the playoffs .
