FC Barcelona are back on the pitch on Wednesday at 19.00 CEST, in the second of three pre-season games before the first LaLiga game against Villarreal in the last weekend of September.
After beating Gimnàstic Tarragona 3-1 at the weekend and with the Joan Gamper Trophy match scheduled for Saturday against Elche (19:00 CEST), tomorrow there will be a friendly match against Girona, the Catalan teammate.
Like the game with Nàstic, it is played at the Estadi Johan Cruyff, and behind closed doors due to the measures of Covid-19. Don’t forget that the match will be broadcast exclusively live and worldwide, however, on Barça TV +.
The opposition
Girona, from a town just 100km north of Barcelona, was promoted to La Liga for the first time in 2017.
They finished in an impressive 10th position in their debut season but were relegated the following year. They almost managed to recover immediately, but were defeated in the last moments of the play-off final against Elche, the same team that Barça will play in three days.

For the match with Nàstic, Ronald Koeman chose to field completely different XI in the first and second half.
