Officially it is a member of the Badminton Association

The Morelos Association of badminton made the change of the board of directors in which José Francisco Alcántara will serve as president of this sport in the state.

The assembly was held at the facilities of the Sports Institute who claimed to provide the corresponding support to promote the practice of badminton in the entity.

Said Association was formed by José Francisco Alcántara as president; Emmanuel Alonso, vice president; Óscar Euroza, secretary; Luz Angélica de la Sierra, treasurer; Óscar Millán, curator; Sara Anaya, member and Joao Cortés, legal representative.

The new board of directors will seek to promote this sport with the formation of groups and the Morelos team that represents the state in important competitions in the country such as the Conade National Games or the National Universiade.

Recently the work of the teachers who are now leaders of the discipline, led four athletes such as Ángela Sofía Pérez, Regina Gómez, Luna Mazón and Carlos de la Sierra to earn a place in the national qualifier.

The representatives of the Autonomous University of the State of Morelos, would seek their place at home in the National of the specialty that would take place in the highest house of studies, however, derived from the pandemic the competition was lost this year, but surely, they will return stronger to make history.
