Jordan Clarkson enjoyed his time with the Jazz this season, but it’s unclear if she’ll stay in Utah, notes Sarah Todd of the Deseret News. Clarkson will be an unrestricted free agent and more suitors will be after his services, Todd points out. Clarkson was a spark off the bench for a playoff team, averaging 15.6 PPG, and the Jazz will be the first in line to make him an offer, adds Todd.

We have more from across the Northwest Division:

  • Jamal Murray can really solidify as a superstar if the Nuggets can overcome Kawhi Leonard and the Clippers, opines Sean Keeler of the Denver Post. After his great performances in the opening round against Utah, Murray held on to 12 points in Game 1 of the Nuggets’ second round series against the Clippers on Thursday.
  • The Timberwolves will remain open-minded as he thinks about what to do with the number 1 pick overall, according to Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic. President of basketball operations Gersson Roses says all options are on the table, since there isn’t a foolproof star in this year’s draft class. “We will do an incredible due diligence, whether it is a point guard or a great one”, He said. “I’m 100% in the field of ‘finding the best player with the best advantage.’ This is the path we will take. “
  • The future of the head coach Billy Donovan and point guard Chris Paul are the biggest questions hanging over the Thunder, writes Joe Mussatto of The Oklahoman. Paul is under contract for another two seasons, but OKC is unlikely to attach draft picks to a potential deal, considering Paul’s strong performances in the season and in the playoffs.
